What our Event Company Built This Year: We EnJoy'd 2025!

Throughout 2025, Martha and Kevin were once again honored to support scores of nonprofits across the region and beyond—helping raise vital funds for human services, environmental causes, the arts, and animal welfare. In times when our political systems often feel misaligned with the basic needs of our world and its inhabitants—animal, vegetable, and mineral—we applaud our clients for keeping the flame of hope, service, and generosity alive.

In February, Kevin received a particularly auspicious invitation. While deeply engaged in developing his training and keynote program Non-Artificial Intelligence, he was invited by Amazon Recruiting to lead a multi-hour team-building session for the very group responsible for recruiting the world’s top AI scientists. It was a rare opportunity to operate briefly at the nerve center of AI—where one of the most influential forces in technological transformation is actively shaping how this powerful, complex, and unpredictable technology enters our lives. Kevin’s Non-Artificial Intelligence project is dedicated to helping organizations and communities preserve human flourishing in an AI-driven world—strengthening those uniquely human capacities we must keep alive if we are to live sustainably alongside artificial intelligence.

In June, Kevin facilitated a fascinating and complex two-day strategic planning and communications training with the Commissioners of the newlyformed Vashon Health Care District. This voter-approved regional hospital district exists to support coordination among Vashon’s many nonprofit and service organizations dedicated to islanders’ health and well-being. This deeply engaged group of elected officials brought both heart and rigor to ten full hours of conversation and planning, supported by the visionary leadership of Superintendent Tim Johnson.

The creation and production of JumpStart! in downtown Seattle was the late-summer crown jewel of the year. Part of the city’s Hope Corps activations, this four-day, free, outdoor performance extravaganza was supported by the Mayor’s Office of Arts & Culture and the first year of EnJoy’s three-year Sustained Support grant from King County’s 4Culture. Reaching more than 3,000 people, JumpStart! stands among the biggest—and most satisfying—public performance projects in EnJoy’s history. We were immensely proud of Artistic Director Martha Enson for pulling off such a joyful, ambitious, and successful undertaking.

In September, EnJoy began a year-long collaboration with The Workshop (led by longtime EnJoy collaborator and Seattle event maestro David Doxtater) and the City of Renton. Martha will serve as Artist Director and EnJoy will provide programming and communications leadership for the summer 2026 arts and events programming in the new Legacy Square in downtown Renton. June and July will feature programming alongside public FIFA match screenings on a state of the art outdoor screen, followed by several days a week of arts and community events throughout August and September. This is a major undertaking—led by Martha—to bring vibrancy, culture, and connection to this wonderfully diverse city south of Seattle. We’re thrilled to have been awarded the contract alongside The Workshop and are excited to help launch Legacy Square with energy and imagination.

In October Kevin was honored to return to WSECU to host their annual All- Star Day—always a highlight with this beloved client and outstanding Washington community bank. This sports-themed gathering featured an inspiring onstage conversation with NBA legend Isaiah Thomas, joyful reconnections with Gary Swindler and the remarkable senior leadership team…and yes, Sasquatch made an appearance.

December brought a truly magical flurry of elves—programmed at furious Christmas speed by Martha—to meet Nordstrom’s entirely reasonable imperative: Santa, Mrs. Claus, and a full contingent of dancing, singing, and greeting elves, over several festive days. EnJoy was delighted to join

the iconic Seattle store in its holiday celebrations—and especially proud to

help provide meaningful work for performing artists during the busiest

season of the year.

As 2025 comes to a close, we feel profoundly buoyed by our clients, our

collaborators, and all of you. We flourish in community and in deepening

relationships. May 2026 bring us closer together, more courageous and ever more committed to positive change and a sustainable future. We believe in setting intentions, not resolutions.
